Biography

Kathy Lin joined the firm in 2016 as a litigation associate in the Southern California office. Her practice focuses on complex litigation, specializing in healthcare matters and issues. She represents major acute care providers in state and federal civil actions, mediations, and arbitrations against health plans, insurance companies and government entities.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lin served as an associate General Counsel for the then- largest retail wireless licensee of MetroPCS® in Southern California, practicing employment law litigation defense, including investigation in compliance with California and federal laws, in areas ranging from discrimination and harassment to bodily injury claims. Most recently, Ms. Lin served as an associate General Counsel of a global trading company, consulting on civil transactional matters, employment related issues, as well as policies for operational improvement.  Prior to law practice, Ms. Lin interned with the Office of the Los Angeles County Public Defender, and earlier with the Los Angeles office of U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer. Ms. Lin speaks English and Mandarin/Chinese.  She enjoys fitness and outdoor activities.
