Biography
Ms. Brown joined the firm in 2000 as a litigation associate in the firm’s Southern California office.  Her practice focuses upon representing health care providers regarding a broad range of commercial litigation issues, including breach of contract, insurance coverage, and misrepresentation.  She has pursued insurance providers, public entities, and networked health plans in both state and federal courts, in arbitrations, and in mediations.  Ms. Brown also represents numerous California-based hospitals in regulatory and administrative proceedings involving the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.  She has also developed an expertise in administrative proceedings involving the California Department of Health Care Services.
